Arizona Driver License

In case you want to get your Arizona driver license, you need to know that according to the Arizona driver license department, you have three different license types that you can get.

Types of Driver's Licenses In Arizona

#1: Class D/G:
This is the type of Arizona driver license that allows you to drive any vehicle that doesn't require a commercial license or motorcycle. Notice that you will be able to get the Class D Arizona driver license if you have 18 years old or more and that you can get your Class G graduate Arizona driver license if you have between 16 and 18 years old.

#2: Class A/B/C:
Class A/B/C Arizona driver licenses are the ones that are usually referred to as commercial driver licenses. The type of license that you need to get depends on the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR).

#3: Class M:
In case you are looking to get an Arizona ID to drive a motor-driven cycle or a motorcycle, then the Class M is the one that you need. Please note, that you need to be at least 16 years old to apply.

How to Apply For A Full Arizona Driver License
As we already mentioned above, this is the Class D Arizona driver license and you can only apply if you 18 years or older. Nevertheless, one of the things that you need to know is that you can apply for this license even if you don't hold an instruction permit first.

Notice that if you want to get some practice, you may choose to apply for an instruction permit.

In order to apply for this type of license, you need to go to our office located at 800 N Main St in San Luis Arizona to apply in person. Here, you will be asked to fill out an application form. One of the best things about this form is that you can complete it online before. This way, it will already be stored when you visit the driver license department. In case you need your license to show any medical conditions, you will also need to submit a statement from your nurse practitioner or physician.

One of the things that you need to keep in mind is that you need some specific
documents. These need to be verified and include:
your Arizona residency
your identity and date of birth
Proof that your presence in the US is authorized under federal law (non-US citizens)
Legal proof of your name change, if your name differs from that shown on your primary document
Please call us at (928)627-8212 to find out what exact document you need to bring.

Pass A Written Knowledge Test
